Mark Deitch & Associates, Inc. has been awarded a prestigious Maggie, award for our design work on the 1st Annual Latin GRAMMY, Awards program book. The program book, published by the Recording Academy for the inaugural event, took top honors in the category of Annual trade publication for 2000. The Maggie award program is sponsored by the Western Publications Association and is open to publishing companies headquartered in the Western United States. The event is the publishing industry's equivalent of the Oscar, GRAMMY and Emmy awards and honors editorial, design and promotion excellence. This year 2,080 entries were received and 80 Maggies were awarded.
